The room divider can be placed as a railing. With no bottom, it leaves a beautiful opening between the staircase and the room.

Here is an illustration from a customer who created a modern, uncluttered room divider. The customer added wooden planks around it to give it an authentic feel. Made-to-measure helped to create something that was exactly the same length as the hopper.
