Bathrooms, and wet rooms in general, are often narrow and difficult to arrange. Made-to-measure allows you to create a multitude of extra storage spaces and easily save space to make your bathroom functional and design.
The bathroom is often the most complicated room to fit out within an interior. In the city, it is estimated that bathrooms are between 4 and 5 m², which leaves little scope for design and requires a great deal of logistical planning to ensure that no space is wasted. What's more, bathrooms are often built around the main elements that make it up: shower and/or bath, washbasin and sometimes toilet and boiler... The spaces that remain that could possibly be fitted out to add storage are therefore generally very narrow.
Tailor-made is a real advantage in this type of configuration. In fact, it allows you to design your furniture to the nearest millimetre so that it fits perfectly into a niche or under a washbasin, for example.
Lack of storage is common in a bathroom: between hygiene products, beauty products and towels, you need to have quite a lot of storage space. So it's vital to furnish this room properly to save as much space as possible.
Custom-made furniture gives you the opportunity to create furniture that perfectly matches the space you have available, with a view to saving you space all the time. Our aim is to provide you with exactly what you're looking for, thanks to the various options available on our configurator. You can configure all the elements you need on a daily basis: cupboards, drawers, sliding shelves... All to make your bathroom functional.
A major problem that can arise when you decide to furnish your bathroom is the presence of pipes. The fact is, as you're used to having a shower room, there are often pipes in the space, and they're not always in the right place. You may therefore encounter difficulties when fitting out your bathroom. Tailor-made solutions are ideal in this case. It allows you to hide certain pipes while retaining access if you need to, or simply to design your furniture around this constraint, which will therefore no longer be a constraint.
We'll give you 2 tips for leaving space for your pipes on our configurator:
If the pipes are on one side of the cabinet, you can create an overhang from the top of your cabinet on the side where they are present. To do this, you need to switch to "expert mode". This will give you access to the top parameters in order to create this overhang of the desired length.
If the pipes are located behind a piece of furniture and you still want to have access to them after the furniture has been installed, you can create a piece of furniture with partial bottoms. Make sure that the pipes fit into a single column. On this column, leave out the base and remove the plinth if necessary. To do this, add 18 mm bottoms only to columns without pipes and use a type 1 plinth to remove it from the column you want. This way, the pipes will still be accessible.
The boiler is an imposing element in a room, yet essential within an interior. When it's in a shower room, it's all the more cumbersome due to the small size of these rooms, it spoils the visual and design you may be trying to give it.
The solution: creating a bespoke cupboard as a boiler cover. Our configurator gives you the option of removing the base in order to build your cabinet directly onto the boiler. It also allows you to leave an empty space behind the base or top to allow any pipes to pass through.
Custom-made gives you all the cards in your hand to be able to hide an unsightly feature of your interior with ease.
Many constraints can be present and cleverly hidden thanks to made-to-measure in your bathroom. Sometimes, however, the furniture is already there but doesn't have enough storage space. The spaces around them are too small to furnish the space properly. In this case, the sur-mesure allows you to easily frame existing furniture to create additional storage around it while optimising the space that was unused. Our colour palette allows you to get as close as possible to the furniture already present in your bathroom to match the whole as fairly as possible.
The same process can be applied to a boiler or any other equipment present within your shower room: you can frame them with ease to create additional storage designs thanks to the various options we offer on our configurator.
