The choice of compass type 

We offer 3 types of compass on our configurator: 

• Standard compass

Standard compasses are ideal for classic door use, without too heavy a load to bear once open. Depending on the width of the door, a second compass can be added automatically to your configuration.

We recommend not exceeding 40cm in height. Beyond that, the weight of the door will suffice, but you should not potentially put a heavy load on the flap.

Cable compasses offer an aesthetic alternative to standard compasses. They are much sleeker and more stylish than standard compasses, more rustic in appearance, but just as strong. If you use your secretary flap door on a daily basis, we advise you to select two cable compasses rather than one to spread the effort.
